Can you imagine the poker game without the existence of a poker table? What a nightmare!

A table for poker is the one which marks the start of the game. It is intended for playing all kinds of card games most especially poker. Unlike the other tables you see, it is well covered with baize, a kind of speed cloth or felt which greatly helps in sliding the cards easily and effortlessly just crossways the surface. Actually, it can either be a tabletop surface which is fold-out or an actual table.

There are two kinds of tables with regard to the level of poker game. These are the oval-shaped and the octagonal or round. The former can view the hole cards of a certain player that is why it is used in pocketcams. The latter is used in amateur poker wherein the players rest their arms in the raised and padded edge of the table.
